The REALTOR® party is a powerful alliance of REALTORS® and REALTOR® Associations working to protect and promote homeownership and property investment. The REALTOR® Party speaks with one voice to advance candidates and public policies that build strong communities and promote a vibrant business environment.
Now more than ever, it is critical for REALTORS® to come together and speak with one voice about the stability a sound and dynamic real estate market brings to our communities. From city hall to the state house to the U.S. Capitol, our elected officials are making decisions that have a huge impact on the bottom line of REALTORS® and their customers. Through the support of REALTORS® like you, the REALTOR® Party represents your interests.
You may participate in the political advocacy of the Merced County Association of REALTORS® in a number of ways:
Register to vote.
In the November 8, 2016 election, the Association is supporting Merced County Measure V - the 1/2 cent sales tax transportation expenditure plan. Click here for the Measure V Fact Sheet.
Attend C.A.R. Legislative Day in Sacramento. The Association charters a VIA bus to take members from Merced to Sacramento. The bus leavesMerced at 6:00 a.m., and arrives back in Merced at approximately 9:00 p.m. $50.00 reserves your transportation and lunch with Region 7. Your deposit will be returned to you in Sacramento.
Attend the Annual Meet and Greet Your Local Representatives at an early evening event at the Association office in January.
