Free Workshops for New Homebuyers

The Housing Affordability Fund Committee of the Association presents free workshops for new homebuyers.  The next workshop has been tentatively scheduled for February (date to be determined), from 5:30 p.m. to 7:00 p.m., at the Association Office, 635 W. Main Street in Merced.

Attending a free workshop is the first step in applying for downpayment assistance from the MCAR Charitable Foundation's housing affordability fund for first-time homebuyers.  Income restrictions apply.

The free workshop will present information about budgeting, the home buying process, financing, home inspections, home insurance, title and escrow, and more.

Meeting Room in Downtown Merced Available for Rent

The Merced County Association of REALTORS® has a meeting room that can seat eighty-five people at tables and chairs. The room is ideal for seminars. Free parking is available in the Shannon Parcade.
